What changes the amount

The number of valves
The published price covers an ordinary domestic installation. Beyond eight valves there is a supplement, which we tell you before the visit.

Access to the unit
A unit in an unboarded loft, behind a narrow hatch or more than three metres up takes extra time and equipment.

The starting condition
An installation untouched for ten years does not clean in the same time as one that has been maintained. We see that on site and say so before we start.
VAT: 6% or 21%
The prices above exclude VAT. For a private home over ten years old, the reduced 6% rate applies to servicing. Under ten years, new build, or a commercial building: 21%. We apply the rate matching your situation and it appears on the invoice.
Why we publish our prices
Most sites in our trade give an unattributed range — "between €100 and €350" — or say nothing at all and make you fill in a form. A price you publish is a price you are held to. Simpler for you, more demanding for us.
